SUMMARY: Alabama’s Governor had one message for residents; “It’s time to start blaming the unvaccinated folks, not the regular folks. It’s the unvaccinated folks that are letting us down”. Last week “these people” even booed Trump when he told them to get vaccinated. This is a whole new level of stupidity.
I realize that some people can’t get vaccinated because of logistics or health, but denying the effectiveness of a vaccine while dying people beg others to get vaccinated is beyond reason. While politicians can only do so much to get people vaccinated, they need to blame a large part of the antivaccine movement.
While both Pfizer and Moderna are pulling in billions in profits, you would think they could spend a couple hundred million dollars to counter the antivaccine misinformation? Don’t tell me it can’t be done because it can at least be tried.
Facebook posts with antivaccine information have been viewed thousands of times, yet Facebook takes zero responsibility. Today’s FDA approval of the Pfizer vaccine may help a little but how do you fight governor fighting masks in school while his state, Florida, sets records for new COVID infections and deaths?

If we believe we are in the wellness business, why can’t we convince people to get vaccinated? Do we need to show them the unpleasant death of an unvaccinated person in a hospital? Do we need the dying words of someone to say, “please get vaccinated?”.
When I saw the size of the crowd at the Trump rally in Alabama, I was first in shock and then became very angry. Pharma has zero excuses for donating to politicians who oppose mask mandates and vaccines. There’s a strong possibility that the virus could mutate and become resistant to our vaccines. If that happens, we are all in deep mud.

I can finally understand the anger of people who have been responsible and got vaccinated. I realize that anger is not a good emotion, but I’m tired of reading about the fathers, mothers, and sons and daughters dying from covid because they didn’t get vaccinated.
