Market conditioning for A-Fib: Is there a blockbuster here or is it trying to create a market where none exists ?

Nearly three million people in the U.S. have A-Fib. By the year 2050, the number will be 5.6 million. This year there will be over 340,000 new cases in the US. A-Fib is the most common heart arrhythmia. In the U.S. people over 40 have a one in four lifetime risk of developing A-Fib.  Boehringer Ingelheim has started to raise awareness of A-Fib with the airing of an unbranded disease state commercial.  Is this a potential blockbuster or is it creating a market where one doesn’t exist.
