I have 17 years of healthcare marketing experience and love the challenge of marketing to empowered patients. I was the first DTC eMarketing person to use community based platform for the launch of a product (Sarafem) and developed and launched Cialis on the Internet while working for Eli Lilly.
I believe that everything we do has to be done for the benefit of our customers and patients. While I understand that ROI is the driver of any business decision I also believe that consumers today want a level of transparency from companies and brands that healthcare is still trying to cope with.
I also believe that the current model within biopharma is broken; too many meetings, too many Power Points and processes and people that are driving talented people away from the industry.
