About Me

The best way to describe myself would be “an empathetic pirate”.   I have sat in a lot of research listening to both caregivers and patients talk about health problems that prevent them from living life to its fullest.  I am a pirate because I tend to challenge the status quo and ask “what if” while putting patients first.

I have 17 years experience in healthcare marketing, with an emphasis on launching new brands, qualitative and quantitative research, and DTC marketing, both online and off line.

I am most proud of the work that I did at Lilly launching Cialis and Sarafem that led to company awards for their contribution to the success of the brand.

I currently work as part of a consulting team consisting of four ex-executives from the pharma, biotech and medical device industries.  Our clients range from small biotech companies to top ten pharma clients based in the Midwest and Northeast.

I’m known for telling it like it is and saying what’s on my mind, but to date I have a nice list of very happy clients who have benefitted from an empathetic view of marketing healthcare. I don’t pretend to know everything and I am still learning which is a process, I hope, will never stop.
